Gaggle has been developed to proactively prevent student suicide, bullying, inappropriate behaviours, school violence, and other harmful situations. Here’s how it works:
- Gaggle integrates with communication and collaboration tools – such as Microsoft 365 – and uses a combination of artificial intelligence and trained safety experts to flag, review and block potentially harmful content in students’ school-issued accounts.
- In severe situations, school-appointed contacts can be immediately notified or law enforcement will be asked to intervene.
- When students sign up for social networks with their school-provided email accounts, email alerts or notifications from that social network account will become part of Gaggle Safety Management.
