Pathways to employment

We’re passionate about providing opportunities and programs which support the early phases of ICT careers.

Whether that is straight out of school, graduating from university, making a career change, or re-entering the workforce, Data#3 is committed to supporting both current employees, and prospective employees, irrespective of their stage of life.

To enable our people’s development, Data#3 offers a variety of pathways and opportunities through partnering with our vendors programs, apprenticeship centres, tertiary education providers and industry groups. These programs provide practical on-the-job experience in conjunction with various study arrangements. By undertaking one of these programs, our people will have the opportunity to learn, be engaged, and inspired to build their career at Data#3 and in the ICT industry.

Our community

At Data#3, we believe that when we invest in a strong community, everybody benefits.

Supporting key local, national, and international charities and promoting volunteering activities has always been a part of the Data#3 culture, and this was formalised by the creation of our SOUL program.

Data#3 team members have been instrumental in achieving wonderful results for a number of our key not-for-profit partners, raising tens of thousands of dollars each year through awareness days, fundraising activities, participation in community initiatives and volunteering. Some of our key charity partners include LifelineStarlight FoundationThe Smith FamilyWorld VisionThe Leukaemia Foundation and Save the Children.

Our SOUL program includes pro-bono volunteering. Our team draws on knowledge and partnerships to source affordable technology, and provide the expertise needed to bring it all together.  An example of this is how Data#3 helped The Surfers Paradise Surf Lifesaving Club utilise funds from a COVID-related grant scheme for much-needed IT improvements.

We also work with our customers to support their corporate citizenship goals by helping them to reduce their energy use with green technology solutions and assisting them to dispose of their IT equipment responsibly.
