At Data#3, our people are the heartbeat of our business, so much so that our core values are recognised as Honesty, Excellence, Agility, Respect and Teamwork – HEART – underpinning the way we work and defining the way we behave in all aspects of our dealings with each other, our partners and our customers.
Honesty – We foster a culture whereby honesty is the foundation for any meaningful relationship we develop with our customers, vendors, and each other. It is also key to developing credibility – the cornerstone to our success.
Excellence – A continued commitment from all our people towards the pursuit of excellence is what allows us to keep our competitive edge in an ever-changing market.
Agility – A dedication to the continual improvement of our products and services and the ability to adapt to rapid changes in market demands is one way Data#3 sets itself apart from the competition.
Respect – Treating all others with respect is essential to building the personal and professional relationships that we need to operate every day.
Teamwork – Data#3 thrives on the proactive sharing of knowledge and ideas. No one person in a business holds all the answers, and we value the different strengths that each individual contributes.
Our people live by HEART each and every day – this was recently demonstrated when during a meeting, a simple question of “how are you?” led to an incredible story of hope from the Ukraine.
There’s a reason we’re a multi award-winning Employer of Choice – Data#3 is proud to offer an extensive range of staff benefits to all permanent employees, including hybrid and flexible working arrangements, an array of career development and learning opportunities and enriching reward and recognition programs.
Where the true value of Data#3’s culture really shines, however, is in our investment in employee’s wellbeing. Providing a vast range of initiatives to support physical, mental, community and financial wellness, the wellbeing of our people is placed at the epicentre of our operations and employees are supported widely throughout their Data#3 journey.

At Data#3, we believe that when we invest in a strong community, everybody benefits. Supporting key local, national, and international charities and promoting volunteering activities has always been a part of the Data#3 culture, and this was formalised by the creation of our SOUL program.
Data#3 team members have been instrumental in achieving wonderful results for a number of our key not-for-profit partners, raising tens of thousands of dollars each year through awareness days, fundraising activities, participation in community initiatives and volunteering. Some of our key charity partners include Lifeline, Starlight Foundation, The Smith Family, World Vision, The Leukaemia Foundation and Save the Children.
Our SOUL program includes pro-bono volunteering. Our team draws on knowledge and partnerships to source affordable technology, and provide the expertise needed to bring it all together. An example of this is how Data#3 helped The Surfers Paradise Surf Lifesaving Club utilise funds from a COVID-related grant scheme for much-needed IT improvements.
We also work with our customers to support their corporate citizenship goals by helping them to reduce their energy use with green technology solutions and assisting them to dispose of their IT equipment responsibly.
Since our beginnings in 1977, Data#3 has faced many challenges, and embraced a wealth of opportunities. In November 2022, Data#3 received global recognition for ESG and CSR.
Throughout our history, we have made decisions with the longevity and sustainability of our organisation in mind. Our vision is to harness the power of people and technology for a better future. We commit to a sustainable environmental, social and governance (ESG) framework that supports our business, people and stakeholders. The foundation of our program consists of four pillars: people, community, ethics, and environment.
Every day, and every year, it is our aim to improve on every one of our four pillars. To bring you on this journey with us, we’ve created a full report that details our successes and endeavours in each of these four pillars.
