Data#3 Announces Appointment of General Manager for Infrastructure Solutions

October 11, 2018; Brisbane, Australia: Leading Australian technology services and solutions provider, Data#3, today announced that it has appointed John Tan to the role of General Manager for Infrastructure Solutions.

Responsible for the management of Data#3’s Infrastructure Solutions business, Tan will be tasked with creating and nurturing the division’s long-term strategy, ensuring financial performance and driving exceptional customer experience. This includes combining Data#3’s services expertise with key server, storage, networking and end-user computing technologies from key vendor partners.

Tan joined Data#3 in 2007 as National Maintenance Manager, a title that he held for six years before becoming General Manager for Maintenance Services, his role prior to this new appointment.

Commenting on his new position, Tan, said, “I’m excited by this great opportunity to build upon an already successful business. Rapid transformation within the technology industry creates a need to constantly innovate, and the broader remit afforded to me by this new roles gives me the scope to drive innovation. Tan’s experience spans many facets, in particular across vendor partnerships, lifecycle management, and customer success. He was instrumental in building a number of sales initiatives and platforms to help customers maximise their infrastructure investments, gain insights, and mitigate risk.
