As one of Australia’s leading providers of healthcare technology solutions, the customer works with medical practitioners, hospitals and medical practices to provide a range of health and medical-related services.
The customer had recently relocated to a new Head Office and took the opportunity to upgrade all of its office technology. This included an upgrade from Microsoft Office 2010 to Office 2013 and a Skype for Business deployment.
Once the new technology was implemented, the customer noticed that there was a skills-gap for employees. Data#3 was engaged to deliver comprehensive training on the new technology, to ensure its employees could operate effectively when they arrived at the new office. The customer also required training with other recently implemented infrastructure including telephony systems, virtual desktops, conferencing systems, audio visual systems, meeting room booking systems and new interfaces.
Data#3 provided a complete training solution that ensured employees could effectively use the new technology and associated peripherals and devices. The training solution included the creation of printed user guides for each new element of technology, from the new infrastructure to the new interfaces.
Data#3 also provided quick start guides and face-to-face training on Microsoft Office 2013 and Skype for Business. To ensure the customer could consistently continue their internal training, off the shelf training videos were provisioned and bespoke training videos were created. To minimise disruption, on “go live” days, floor walker trainers provided additional support and assist where needed to ensure a smooth transition.

Following the training, the customer was able to successfully transition more than 200 staff to the new Head Office with minimal impact to the business. Data#3 assisted in the transition by providing a multifaceted training solution that addressed their need for flexibility and multimodal learning opportunities. The training ensured employees were successfully enabled to be effective and productive users of the new technology.
