Headquartered in Brisbane, the Data#3 office has relocated to a prominent position along the Brisbane River at 555 Coronation Drive, creating a workplace tailored to the needs of an evolving workforce and its growing customer base. Designed to maximise engagement through open spaces, the office also showcases the latest in technology, transforming traditional meeting rooms into digital workspaces that extend the productivity of in-person meetings to any internet connected device.
The space is custom-designed to support the changing workforce, enabling greater engagement between in-office staff and remote workers as Data#3 delivers an increasing number of projects remotely. The workspace is equipped with digital boards, wireless sharing, and voice-activated assistants powered by the latest in artificial intelligence – all of which reduce physical interaction and improve the work, health, and safety of staff and visitors alike.
Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by a custom-designed curved 9.6m digital wall. A key feature of the space, the digital wall will display a collection of designed footage exploring abstract digital concepts, in acknowledgement of Data#3’s 40-year leading-edge technology legacy.
A number of precautionary measures have been taken to ensure a COVID-safe working environment, including the utilisation of technology for contact tracing, and to minimise physical touch points within the office.
A phased transition to the office will take place, with many of Data#3’s workforce emerging from the company’s work-from-home period to enjoy the benefits of a truly modern workplace.
Data#3 Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Laurence Baynham, commented, “We have a 40-plus year history as a Queensland headquartered business. This new space for our company headquarters is another milestone in Data#3’s evolution as one of Australia’s leading technology companies. As a result of the pandemic, our thinking evolved around key considerations for the space: the safety of our staff and customers remains our primary objective.”
“Combined with the precautionary measures taken to ensure a safe environment, we have invested in the latest digital technology to collaborate internally and externally and showcase our award-winning technology solutions. As the way we work continues to evolve, our approach to creating safe, modern workplaces enables us to provide Data#3 staff and customers with the best possible collaboration experience, regardless of location.”
Baynham continued, “The new office creates opportunities for our teams to explore new ways of collaborating with our partners, our customers, and each other. I am confident that our new HQ will provide a great foundation for another chapter in Data#3’s Australian success story.”
Ray Merlano, Data#3 Queensland General Manager, said “We are delighted to be able to present this custom-built space to the Data#3 workforce and our customers. This office is designed to be a space where our people want to come to work, and the measures put in place are designed to ensure their safety in doing so. We are confident that our new workspace will enhance our collaborative and agile approach as we support our customers on their digital transformation journeys.”
