Data#3 has officially formed its RWG, which consists of staff who are passionate about reconciliation, understand the cultural importance of reconciliation and are committed to helping establish its RAP. The RWG will be responsible for developing, implementing and reporting on Data#3’s RAP.

As part of National Reconciliation Week, I’m delighted to officially announce our commitment to working towards a tangible, positive and sustained effect on advancing reconciliation through our RAP program.”

Under the guidance of the RWG’s executive sponsor, Data#3 Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Laurence Baynham, the company will develop a RAP that helps Data#3 take meaningful action to advance reconciliation moving forward.

“As the largest Australian IT services and solutions company, we have a responsibility to contribute to the reconciliation of the nation. We look forward to working with Reconciliation Australia to strengthen the relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, for the benefit of all Australians,” said Baynham.

Based around the core pillars of relationships, respect and opportunities, RAPs provide tangible and substantive benefits for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, increasing economic equity and supporting First Nations self-determination.
