Data#3 – A new era in the evolution of hybrid cloud

This session explores how organisations are rethinking workload placement through a hybrid-by-design lens, balancing sovereignty, security, latency, cost and cloud economics while also factoring in AI workload demands and rising VMware licensing pressures. Using a practical decision framework, it examines when to modernise to containers and managed services versus alternative virtualisation platforms, and includes a live demo of Azure Local connected to Azure Public Cloud via Azure Arc to show what “right workload, right location” looks like in practice.

Frequently asked questions

Who should attend?

IT and business leaders, technical specialists and decision-makers looking for practical insights, real-world use cases and what’s coming next.

To keep the experience relevant and valuable for attendees, the event is best suited to professionals currently working within end-user organisations. As such, it’s not intended for students, job seekers or representatives from competing organisations and service providers.

Is the event free?

Yes. JuiceIT is a complimentary event, but places are limited.

Complimentary catering is provided throughout the day including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, so you can stay focused and make the most of the experience.

If you need internal approval to attend, we’ve got you covered. You can download our “justify your attendance” letter to help outline the value of attending JuiceIT to your manager.

Will sessions be recorded?

JuiceIT is a primarily in-person experience, designed to maximise connection, conversation and hands-on learning. While select sessions may be recorded and shared digitally after the event, live virtual attendance is not typically available.

What should I bring?

Just yourself (and your curiosity!). Your registration confirmation is helpful but not essential.

If you’d like to share the experience, feel free to bring along your IT leader or a colleague who’d benefit from attending. JuiceIT is a great opportunity to align on ideas and take practical insights back to your organisation.

Will there be networking opportunities?

Absolutely. Dedicated breaks and informal sessions will be available throughout the day to connect with peers and partners.
