Process 

The Azure Local Boost Assessment follows a structured process to ensure a thorough evaluation, clear recommendations, with a smooth transition to Azure Local when appropriate. Here are the key steps involved: 

  1. Initial consultation: Consultation between Data#3 and your organisation to understand specific business goals, technical requirements, and current infrastructure setup. 
  1. Nomination and approval: Nomination (by Data#3 on your behalf) for the Azure Local Boost program.  Once approved, you will receive a voucher to be used towards the cost of the assessment and migration services. 
  1. Assessment workshop: A detailed assessment workshop conducted to evaluate your current data centre environment. Includes analysing existing workloads, identifying optimisation opportunities, and assessing security and performance requirements. 
  1. Customised migration plan: Tailored migration roadmap outlining the steps to transition to Azure Local, including timelines, resource allocation, and specific technical tasks. 
  1. Technical workshops and training: A series of optional technical workshops and training sessions designed to ensure that your team is well-prepared to manage and utilise the new infrastructure.
