July 17, 2023; Tasmania, Australia: Leading Australian technology services and solutions provider, Data#3, is proud to announce that it is the recipient of the 2023 Best Security Initiative Award at the TasICT Excellence Awards.
The prestigious award was one of only 10 presented at a special presentation night gala dinner. Data#3 received the accolade for an Assessment and Maturity Uplift Project for the Tasmanian Government. Based on Microsoft technology, and in partnership with Digital Strategy and Services (DSS), Data#3 delivered a progressive security solution allowing the Tasmanian Government to provide the best services to its Tasmanian community and citizens, as part of its wider Digital Transformation Strategy.

The Microsoft Gold Security Partner competency recognises Microsoft Partners who demonstrate deep expertise in planning, implementing, and managing customers’ information security programs in the face of today’s increasingly sophisticated data security threats and strict regulatory compliance requirements. To attain this competency, partners must pass skills validation assessments and meet stringent performance requirements established by Microsoft.
