Data#3 named worldwide Microsoft Surface+ Partner of the Year

July 19, 2022; Brisbane, Australia: Leading Australian technology services and solutions provider, Data#3, is delighted to announce that it has been named as the worldwide Microsoft Surface+ Partner of the Year.

The award recognises the Surface partner that has brought the best of Microsoft together by pairing Surface PC and/or Hub with Microsoft modern solutions including Microsoft 365, Autopilot, Device as a Service (DaaS) or other modern deployment techniques in FY22.

“This has been an exceptional year for Data#3 in terms of accolades. What a fantastic achievement to take home the worldwide Surface + Partner of the Year award, just one month after being named the worldwide Microsoft Device Distributor/Reseller Partner of the Year,” said Scott Gosling, National Practice Manager for Microsoft at Data#3. “This award is testament to the work we do every day to combine Surface devices with security and Modern Management solutions for our customers. We look forward to continuing our work in helping customers to deliver their digital future.”

With over 500 modern work projects delivered in FY22, Data#3 possesses extensive proven expertise. The company holds numerous Microsoft Advanced Specialisations in Modern Work including Adoption and Change Management, Calling for Microsoft Teams, Meetings and Meeting Rooms and Teamwork Deployment. These Advanced Specialisations are extremely difficult to obtain and retain. Combined with the company’s Microsoft Gold Competency Status, Data#3 is one of a handful of partners with this level of Microsoft accreditation.

Data#3 Chief Customer Officer, John Tan, commented, “As Microsoft’s largest Australian partner, we work closely with Microsoft to ensure that customers are delivering on their objectives through the use of integrated technology. Data#3 has changed the way we offer devices and collaboration solutions to promote a flexible approach to hybrid work, and this remains a key focus area for the future. We have made significant investment across people, programs, solutions and customer success to ensure that we are delivering solutions that meet the demands expected from a modern workforce. Congratulations to both the Microsoft and Data#3 teams.”

“What an honour to win the worldwide Microsoft Surface+ Partner of the Year award,” said Brad Colledge, Executive General Manager for Data#3. “This is the result of a lot of hard work, fantastic solution development and innovation by our team, combined with our close alignment and partnership with Microsoft. Well done to all involved.”
