Data#3 appoints John Tan to newly created Chief Customer Officer position

July 13, 2022; Brisbane, Australia: Leading Australian technology services and solutions provider, Data#3, is delighted to announce that it has appointed John Tan to the position of Chief Customer Officer (CCO).

The newly formed role is responsible for creating and managing the strategy, operational direction and subsequent activities for Data#3’s business units of infrastructure solutions, software solutions and services sales. Tan will deliver a customer-centric sales strategy which focuses on customer outcomes, improved customer experience, ultimately driving profitability for the business.

“I’m excited by what this role represents to our customers, our team, our vendors and our culture of driving customer success. The customer is at the heart of everything we do at Data#3, and I’m passionate about leveraging our digital and lifecycle approach more broadly across our business to drive customer experience,” said Tan.

With the company for over 14 years, Tan has held numerous leadership positions across the business, managing Data#3’s Maintenance solutions and Infrastructure solutions.

“I’m honoured to continue my journey with Data#3 in this new role and drive the go-to-market strategy across our sales organisation. I appreciate the support of our leadership team in appointing me to our first ever CCO role, confirming our strategy continues to centre around enabling our customers’ success,” concluded Tan.
