Working alongside Cisco and Adelaide University, Data#3 supported a cyber resilience research project focused on the growing challenge of protecting operational technology (OT) systems from cyber threats originating in IT networks.
Through the Resilient Platform Interfaces (RPI) project, researchers explored how networking, security, analytics and advanced AI capabilities can be used to detect, respond to and contain threats before they could impact connected vehicles and other operational systems. Data#3 provided implementation expertise to help establish the technology platform that underpinned the research.
The project highlights the value of collaboration between industry, academia and government in strengthening Australian sovereign capability.
