The impact of COVID-19 on ICT within Australian schools

2020 has been an incredibly challenging and transformative year for Australian schools. To measure the impact, Data#3 and technology partner Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, recently invited schools to contribute to a national education survey.

As detailed in the findings, the pandemic prompted an enormous 91% majority of schools to adopt new digital tools and resources to enable continued teaching and learning in 2020.

This rapid shift has shifted the digital priorities for schools, with a focus on IT skill shortages and concerns around cybersecurity and student safety. Other issues such as collaboration, risk management and network performance are also top of mind at the end of a tumultuous and transformative year in education.

We invite you to read the newly available report, to see how your school’s experiences compares against that of other Australian schools.
