Data#3 appoints Chris Jackson as State Sales Manager for Tasmania

Leading Australian technology services and solutions provider, Data#3, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Jackson as State Sales Manager for Tasmania, reinforcing the company’s continued commitment to a market where its local team has been supporting on-island customer requirements and solving IT challenges since July 2012.

Jackson joins Data#3 with nearly two decades of experience leading technology sales, commercial strategy and business transformation initiatives across Tasmania. He has a strong track record of building high-performing teams, strengthening customer and partner relationships, and driving sustainable commercial outcomes.

In the role, Jackson will lead Data#3’s sales function in Tasmania, with responsibility for business development, strategic customer engagement and team leadership. Backed by Data#3’s national capability, he will support local organisations as they navigate evolving technology priorities and identify opportunities for greater value.

Having worked extensively with government, enterprise and commercial organisations, Jackson brings a deep understanding of the state’s market dynamics and customer needs. His leadership style is centred on clear alignment, disciplined execution and helping teams deliver measurable outcomes.

Jackson said: “Data#3 has built an outstanding reputation for helping Tasmanian organisations harness the power of people and technology to achieve meaningful business outcomes.”

“I’m excited to lead the local business and work closely with our customers, partners and team members to build on that momentum. My focus will be on continuing to strengthen Data#3’s local presence and helping Tasmanian organisations connect with the breadth of expertise we offer nationally, from Consulting and Managed Services through to Cyber Security, Data & AI, Hybrid Cloud, Collaboration, and Applications & Automation. Tasmania is a dynamic market, and I look forward to supporting organisations across the state as they continue to innovate and grow.”

Data#3 Chief Customer Officer, John Tan, said Jackson’s appointment will further strengthen the company’s Tasmanian presence.

“Chris brings a compelling combination of commercial leadership, local market knowledge and a genuine passion for customer success. His experience across software, infrastructure, services and strategic partnerships, together with the trusted relationships he has built throughout Tasmania, make him exceptionally well placed to lead Data#3’s next phase,” Tan said.

“We are delighted to welcome Chris and look forward to the contribution he will make for our customers, partners and people.”
