Data^#3 and Cisco invite you to take part in an interactive “capture the flag” experience where you’ll solve real-world security scenarios in a gamified lab environment.

Designed for the Canberra security community, this event is perfect for those who enjoy tackling problems, exploring security from different angles, and putting their technical skills to the test in a fun, competitive setting.

Work through missions focused on Cisco Secure Access and modern security architectures, think like both attacker and defender, and earn points as you capture flags and climb the leaderboard. With challenges ranging from introductory to advanced, there’s something for every skill level.

What is capture the flag?

An engaging, learning environment where people solve real lab challenges in a gamified environment.

CTF presents you with “Missions” that focus on different Cisco technologies and solutions.

In each mission, players are given a series of treasure-hunt like tasks, also called flags to capture.

By solving a challenge, you will have “Captured the Flag” for that challenge and will be rewarded with points.

By finding the flags, players earn points and compete to be on the leaderboard.
