Upcoming changes to Microsoft education licensing

Microsoft is changing the way education customers purchase, deploy and manage Microsoft products.
The changes will be in effect from October 1, 2017.

Know what to expect of the upcoming changes with the following video announcement:

IMPORTANT: These changes do not apply to schools that have a centrally managed agreement. For schools that have a centrally managed agreement, these changes will be managed directly through centralised stakeholders, individual schools will not need to provide any further action.

If your school is not part of a centrally managed agreement but you are not due for renewal anytime soon, the changes will not impact you at this time. You will however need to consider these changes before your next renewal.
