Data#3 inspires the future ICT workforce with the Australian Computer Society’s Gateway to Industry Schools program

Learn how Data#3 joined forces with the Australian Computer Society to support students looking to forge a career in information technology through the ICT Gateway to Industry Schools program.

The ICT Gateway to Industry Schools program inspires students to explore what a future career in IT could look like through real world experience. With an estimated 66,000 workers needed each year to support a digital economy, the program partners with industry leading organisations to provide mentorship and experiential learning to students.

The benefits of the program don’t only extend to the students involved, for Data#3 National Practice Manager for Education, David Wain, the program aligns with Data#3’s mission to harness the power of people and technology for a better future.

“A key advantage of engaging with the program is the opportunity it brings for Data#3 to contribute to the development of ICT skills for the future while getting a better understanding of how we can innovate and work more effectively with our education customers,” said Wain.

The partnership with the Australian Computer Society reinforces Data#3’s commitment to delivering technology solutions and tools to those who need it most including the youth of today, and the workforce of tomorrow.
