IT Veteran Mark Esler Announces Retirement

Data^#3 Limited, one of Australia’s leading business technology solutions companies, today announced the retirement of its Queensland General Manager, Mark Esler.

Esler was a founding director of Data^#3 in 1984 and has been involved in the business technology industry for over 40 years. He started his career in 1976 with IBM and in his 30 years with Data^#3, he has played a leading role in sales and operations with recent positions including General Manager Product Solutions and General Manager Queensland.

Data^#3 Managing Director, John Grant acknowledged the significant contribution Esler has made to Data^#3 and wished him well for his retirement.

“Thirty years is a life’s work and Mark leaves confident of a bright future for the company to enjoy time with his family. He can quite rightly feel very proud of his achievements and on behalf of everyone he’s worked with at Data^#3 and the Board of Directors, I offer thanks for the enormous and invaluable contribution he has made. His experience, calm and considered thought will be sorely missed,” Grant said.

Ray Merlano will be Acting Queensland General Manager until a replacement is announced.
