Peers select Data^#3 for prestigious industry award, 4th consecutive year

On 16 September, Data^#3 was announced as the industry Enterprise Reseller of the Year at the glittering fourth annual Australian Reseller News (ARN) IT Industry Awards event at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney. More than 600 industry identities attended the premier event where ARN congratulated Data^#3 on receiving the prestigious peer recognised award.

“This endorsement is the ultimate test and it’s an honour to be recognised by the toughest judges, our peers and our competitors, as the Enterprise Reseller of the Year – it’s tremendously gratifying. This is the fourth year running that we have won such a prestigious award and is testimony to the fact that we consistently represent vendor technologies and provide the absolute best value to our customers,” said Laurence Baynham, Group General Manager of Data^#3.

The Enterprise Reseller of the Year award recognises Data^#3’s contribution to ensuring customer success, productivity in the market, technology delivery and growth.

“We would like to think that our efforts in delivering solutions, the way we approach a customer’s problem and the care we take to ensure we deliver an outcome, makes us a tough competitor. We have fantastic vendor partners with technologies that complement the process of delivering solutions and most of all, we have incredible people in our business who simply make it happen,” said Baynham.

In recent statements to the ASX, Data^#3 announced a successful FY10 with full year revenue and pre-tax earnings up by 13% despite the residual effects of the GFC. Total revenue up by 13% to $599 million, product revenue up by 14% to 514 million and services revenue up 7% to 85 million.

This award follows a number of recent wins across Data^#3 ’s business, including being announced as the 2010 Microsoft Australia Core Infrastructure Desktop Partner of the Year (MAPA), Symantec 2010 Pacific Enterprise Partner of the Year, and 2010 Employer of Choice, announced by WIT (Women in IT).
