New Integration Centre Opening Strengthens Data#3 Presence in Victoria

November 2, 2011; Melbourne, Australia: One of Australia’s leading Information and Communications Technology companies Data#3 has today officially opened its new Integration Centre in Braeside, Victoria.

“With ever increasing business volumes being processed out of the previous facility at Mulgrave, there was a need to invest in a new facility to meet demand and improve efficiency,” commented Data#3’s General Manager for Product Solutions, Mark Esler.

“The new centre allows customers to access warehousing, configuration and integration services, giving them faster order shipments through buffering and more efficiently managed and deployed projects.

“Desktop, laptop and mobile devices, servers and networking equipment from leading vendors can be quickly and cost-effectively configured and deployed onsite, saving valuable time and improving productivity for customers,” said Esler.

The Integration Centre opening complements existing facilities in Brisbane and Sydney, and further strengthens Data#3’s ability to leverage these supply chain services for Victorian businesses, government entities and corporate organisations. It also promotes Data#3’s commitment to creating local work opportunities and to offering business opportunity to Victorian companies who assist with onsite deployment services that will be managed from the new facility.

“The new centre in Victoria increases our capacity for third party logistic services, integration, build and imaging of computing equipment and services by up to three times.  We have also increased our project management services to assist customers to get the full benefit of this new facility and the associated supply chain services. We believe this is a critical foundation for the promotion of local IT companies and Data#3’s growth plans in Victoria,” commented John Grant, Data#3 Managing Director.

The event will be attended by Lorraine Wreford MLA, The Victorian State Member of Parliament for Mordialloc, Data#3 Managing Director, John Grant, Group General Manager, Laurence Baynham and General Manager Product Solutions, Mark Esler – as well as key ICT industry representatives and customers.

“The Victorian facility expansion firmly cements our market leadership, as very few systems integrators offer these types of facilities in Australia. This means that Data#3 is now even better placed to deal with the demands of our customers across the country,” concluded Grant.

The Warehouse Opening will be held on Wednesday 2nd November, 2011
Time: 12.30 for 1.00pm
Address: 5, Lot 10, Helen Kob Drive, Braeside VIC  3195
