Data#3 consolidates its People Solutions business in New South Wales

Integration of Fingerprint Consulting Services complete, now positioned to deliver stronger HR, Permanent and Contract Recruitment outcomes for customers in New South Wales.

BRISBANE, Australia—13 November 2009—Data#3 Limited [ASX: DTL], a national technology company today announced it has completed the acquisition and integration of specialist recruitment firm Fingerprint Consulting into its New South Wales operation. With this comes the retirement of the Fingerprint brand and the consolidation of premises. Data#3 acquired Fingerprint in March 2008 under an ‘earn-out’ arrangement.

The two original owners of Fingerprint, Steve Grace and Darren McConnell, continue with the business. Leveraging the strength of Data#3‘s brand, they will manage the delivery of Data#3‘s Permanent & Contract Recruitment, and Human Resources Services in New South Wales.

Being part of the larger New South Wales branch, the new Data#3 People Solutions team will continue to deliver excellent outcomes to customers – with greater opportunities for growth as the market recovers.”

One of the original owners of Fingerprint, Steve Grace said “Whilst it will be sad to see the Fingerprint logo for the last time “this is an exciting time for our business. We will continue to provide the same quality permanent and contract recruitment services.”

“We will also launch additional niche offerings under the banner of Data#3 HR Solutions, to be managed by Darren McConnell. This will enable us to deliver strategic and tactical human resources services that complement our recruitment services.”

Sydney based Fingerprint Consulting Services had been in operation for five years prior to the acquisition by Data#3. Since then, it has continued to live up to its reputation as a premium supplier of predominately Information Technology recruitment to a  ‘blue chip’ customer base.
