Data#3 Wins Symantec Partner Award for Fifth Year Running

June 19, 2012; Brisbane, Australia: Data#3 Limited, one of Australia’s leading Information and Communications Technology companies, has been announced as the FY12 Specialised Partner of the Year at the 2012 Symantec Pacific Partner Awards.

This award recognises Data#3’s expertise in delivering innovative, market-leading solutions to help protect, secure and store critical information. This is the fifth consecutive year the company has been recognised at the Symantec Partner awards.

Data#3 Group General Manager, Laurence Baynham said the company was pleased to accept this highly regarded achievement.

“Winning this award confirms our strategy in investing in technologies from the worlds-leading vendors.

“Data#3’s success is built upon our achievement of 8 Symantec Specialisations, which allows us to provide our customers with an array of data protection and management solutions. The recognition from this award underpins our track record in demonstrating Symantec’s security, storage and systems management portfolio to offer genuine value to our customers,” concluded Baynham.

In 2011, Data#3 achieved two Symantec Master Specialisations, in the areas of Data Protection with NetBackup, and Archiving & eDiscovery. Achieving Master Specialisations demonstrates that Data#3 has met Symantec’s stringent standards in delivering advanced consulting and a deep expertise in designing and implementing Symantec technologies.

“The Pacific Partner Awards acknowledge the outstanding performance and commitment of our partners who have demonstrated a deep investment in Symantec and are building their specialisation expertise. I congratulate Data#3 and look forward to supporting them throughout 2012,” commented Brenton Smith, Vice President and Managing Director, Symantec, Pacific region.

The Symantec Pacific Partner Awards recognise local channel partners that demonstrate innovative delivery of services and solutions to customers and acknowledge their hard work and commitment to selling Symantec’s portfolio of security, storage and systems management solutions.
