September, 7, 2012; Brisbane, Australia: Data#3 Limited, one of Australia’s leading Information and Communications Technology companies, has been announced as the 2012 Microsoft Partner of the Year for Business Productivity.
Data#3 was successful in being selected for this award from a national field of over 300 Microsoft Australia Partners for developing and delivering exceptional Microsoft-based solutions for customers throughout the year.
The Business Productivity Partner of the Year award underpins Data#3’s Microsoft achievements in 2011 and builds upon its recent recognition as a finalist in the 2012 Microsoft Worldwide Partner of the Year awards in the Innovative Customer Advocacy category.
Paul Woods, Data#3 Business Productivity Team Lead accepted the award from Pip Marlow, Microsoft Australia’s Managing Director.
Data#3 Group General Manager, Laurence Baynham said the company was delighted to have won this award.
“The award reflects a major area of investment for the business, as it recognises our strength and ongoing capability in Microsoft technologies. This is instrumental in our ability to offer customers choice and demonstrate the value of an engagement with Data#3.
“The role of technology is to empower people, yet most organisations forget this and focus only on the technology. Our unique and innovative perspective in helping our customers solve their business and technology challenges ensures that their technology investments are aligned with their business goals,” concluded Baynham.
The Data#3 Business Productivity Team works with customers across Australia to help information and knowledge workers adopt technology in support of business outcomes, and to sustainably increase productivity in the long-term. Ultimately, the team seeks to ensure that Data#3 customers are not ‘victims’ of their technology investments.
Data#3 was also a finalist in the Desktop, Education and Private Cloud Partner of the Year award categories at the 2012 Microsoft Australian Partner conference held in Brisbane this week.
