Data#3 Wins Employer of Choice Gold Medal for Second Consecutive Year

Leading Australian technology services and solutions provider, Data#3, today announced that it has been named as the Gold Medal 2020 Employer of Choice for the Human Resources Director (HRD) Magazine, for the second consecutive year.

Data#3’s Gold Medal win was awarded in the large category (500+ employees) with the award recognising companies across several different aspects of employee satisfaction.

Based on cumulative scoring across multiple areas, Data#3 was rated highly across a number of categories, including training and professional development, development of strong and effective leaders, work-life balance, and health and wellbeing. The award is a testament to the ongoing commitment of Data#3 to its people, and the prioritisation of employee experience and wellbeing across all facets of the organisation.

Training and Professional Development: The Data#3 learning and development team deliver ongoing training solutions across a variety of topics and programs. As an organisation, in just six months Data#3 staff undertook over 40 face to face workshops,150 individual coaching sessions and 5000 hours of learning.

  • Leadership: At the cornerstone of the Data#3 culture are the core values of HEART: Honesty, Excellence, Agility, Respect and Teamwork. Leaders have access to extensive training opportunities, including 1:1 Coaching, action planning, topical consultation and ongoing mentoring.
  • Work-life balance: Achieving a balance between work and personal life is a key priority of the Data#3 people strategy. Staff are provided with technology, tools, support and flexible work practices to ensure than an “anywhere workplace” can be realised in line with ongoing work. In the 2019 annual company survey, Data#3 staff cited “Work life balance” as a top reason for loyalty to Data#3.
  • Health and wellbeing: Data#3 actively ensures that the overall, holistic wellbeing of employees is supported through a range of initiatives: from end-of-trip facilities to support ancillary exercise, the regular delivery of mental health programs, access to volunteering opportunities and a range of internally offered health programs, Data#3 aims to ensure that employee health and wellbeing is actively supported.
