Data#3 Limited (ASX:DTL), one of Australia’s leading Information and Communications Technology companies, today announced its success in being appointed as a panel supplier of Computer Hardware and Services to the Queensland Government.
Data#3 has supplied products and services to the Queensland Government under various panel Arrangements for the past twenty years, the last six years under the previous QP-707 panel Arrangement. The new Arrangement is for three years, with the option to extend for a further two years.
The company will be one of a select number of suppliers on the new Arrangement, with Data#3 being the exclusive supplier of HP equipment.
In an environment which the company continues to see as uncertain in both private and public sectors, Data#3 Managing Director, John Grant, said that the company was delighted to have been selected for the new Arrangement which will help sustain its current business and provide opportunity for growth in the future.
“It’s a great result. We have been a long-term supplier to many Queensland Government agencies, and have invested significantly to ensure the product, services and procurement solutions we provide align with the flexibility and adaptability the Queensland Government needs to achieve its objectives.
“The opportunity to be the exclusive HP supplier under this new Arrangement recognises our position as HP’s largest national partner and our long-standing relationship dating back to 1984. By combining HP’s global strengths with Data#3’s local expertise, we are confident that we can provide the Queensland Government with the best value for money and industry-leading service levels,” Grant concluded.
