The much-anticipated S&P/ASX All Technology Index, touted as the NASDAQ of the southern hemisphere, will initially consist of approximately 46 constituent stocks. The creation of the Index will help to place an increasing focus on the flourishing local technology industry.
The award was presented to Data#3 Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Laurence Baynham, at the launch of the S&P/ASX All Technology Index, which took place last Friday.
“This is a milestone occasion for Data#3 and the Australian technology sector as a whole. I’m proud to announce that Data#3 has been named as one of the few companies included in the new Index – one that better reflects the success and contribution of Australia’s technology sector to the broader economy,” commented Baynham.
Founded in 1977, Data#3 Limited (DTL) has been listed on the ASX since 1997 and recently entered the S&P/ASX 300 Index.
