Data#3 Recognised as Australia’s Enterprise Reseller of the Year
September 23, 2008BRISBANE, Australia — 23 September 2008 — Data#3 Limited [ASX: DTL], a national technology company was recognised as Australia’s Enterprise Reseller of the Year at the Australian Reseller News (ARN) IT Industry Awards held at the Sydney Hilton Hotel last Thursday.
The second annual ARN IT Industry Awards was held to recognise outstanding businesses and individuals within the Australian ICT community. Winners were selected from a shortlist of nominated organisations after a vote by a panel of industry judges.
“To be receiving this award is an honour. Being recognised by the toughest judges, our peers and our competitors, as the Enterprise Reseller of the Year is tremendously gratifying. This is the second year running that we have won such a prestigious award and provides testimony to the fact that we consistently do our absolute best to provide value to all our stakeholders and in doing so conduct ourselves as true professionals. This endorsement is the ultimate test,” said John Grant, Managing Director of Data#3.
At the event, Grant was also inducted into the ARN Hall of Fame for his outstanding contributions to the technology industry. He is currently the chairman of the Australian Information Industry Association.
“I am tremendously surprisd and humbled to be recognised by my peers for my work in the technology industry. For me it’s just part of what I do daily,” Grant said.
This award follows a number of recent wins across Data#3’s business, including being announced as Microsoft’s Australian Partner of the Year in 2008 for Licensing Solutions (License Delivery and Software Asset Management) and Security Solutions as well as Sophos Australia Partner of the Year and IBM’s xSeries Partner of the Year.
