Data#3 nurtures innovation in the sky

May 17, 2018; Brisbane, Australia: Australian technology services and solutions provider, Data#3, is proud to announce that it is a key sponsor of Myriad, Australia’s leading tech innovation festival, in collaboration with its world-leading technology partner, Cisco.

The event will see a number of sponsors, including Data#3 and Cisco, present thought-leading content to eager innovators and entrepreneurs.

Data#3 Executive General Manager, Brad Colledge, commented, “We are pleased to be a part of the Myriad initiative, which will showcase technology innovation and the positive impact on the future of Queensland. Encouraging local initiatives that facilitate advancements in technology and really make a difference is something that we are always eager to support and advocate.”

On Monday, Myriad Air brought more than 300 of the brightest minds from Silicon Valley to Queensland for the event.

Data#3 General Manager for Queensland, Ray Merlano, whom was on flight QF6074, commented, “It was such a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the Myriad Air flight. I was seated among such an incredible mix of people, and had some fantastic conversations. Nurturing the innovators of the future is a passion for both Data#3 and myself personally. We look forward to what the coming days will bring, and to harnessing these bright young minds for a better future.”

Myriad will bring together start-ups, investors, tech-lovers and innovators from around Australia and the world. The themes speakers and panels will be tackling include the future of healthcare, education, government and more, with a focus on finding technological and other solutions to some of the biggest challenges facing the world today.

Advance Queensland, the Queensland Government’s vision for the future, has committed to sponsoring Myriad until 2019. Data#3 is proud to align to such support programs that drive innovation, build natural advantages, and help raise Queensland’s profile as an attractive investment destination.
