Data^#3 MD John Grant named as Chairman of Inaugural Australian Rugby League Commission

July 22, 2011; Brisbane, Australia: Data^#3 Limited’s board of directors today announced that it fully endorsed its Managing Director John Grant’s impending appointment as inaugural Chairman of the Rugby League’s Independent Commission.

“We are delighted that John Grant has been offered this role. The board recognises that this appointment is a very big task and we have no doubt whatsoever that John is exactly the right person to take it on. It is a great compliment to him personally and to the ongoing success of Data^#3 that the selection committee has seen it the same way,” commented Data^#3’s Chairman Richard Anderson.

John Grant has indicated his acceptance of the offer to chair the Commission.

“It is a terrific honour to accept this role with the support of the company and to participate in such an historic development in the future of rugby league. Whilst I will be doing everything I can to advance the game my primary focus remains on my responsibilities as Managing Director of Data^#3,” commented Grant.
