Data#3 awarded the IBM System i Business Partner of the Year

BRISBANE, Australia — 21 November 2007 — Data#3 Limited (ASX:DTL), Australia’s leading ICT solutions provider, today announced that it has been awarded IBM’s System i Business Partner of the Year. In addition to year on year growth in IBM System i solution offerings, the award recognises Data#3’s expertise and capability and how this has been applied to help its customers achieve their business and technology objectives.

Data#3 was selected from 840 registered IBM partners across Australia and New Zealand. The award was presented at the recent IBM Business Partner Summit and is one of many IBM awards that Data#3 has received over the last 5 years.

“We are delighted to win this prestigious award. It is testimony to our enterprise team’s deep knowledge, expertise and capability in IBM platforms and how they can be implemented to deliver the best possible outcome to our customers,” said John Grant, Managing Director, Data#3.

Bruce Crouch, General Manager for Data#3’s Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions said, “We have been in partnership with IBM for more than 25 years and we will continue to invest in IBM’s range of platform products for the benefit of our customers.”

“This award acknowledges that we are a leader in building effective enterprise infrastructure solutions for the data centre for organisations from SMEs to large business,” Mr Crouch added.

“These solutions encompass infrastructure consolidation (optimisation), virtualisation, business continuity and disaster recovery, information life cycle management, information availability and data protection, storage and systems management and enterprise application deployment,” he said.

According to Mark Latchford, Vice President IBM Systems and Technology Group Australia and New Zealand, IBM is pleased to present this prestigious award to its highest achieving partner.
