Data^#3 announces new strategic partnership with leading Australian education software specialist TASS

Data^#3 Limited, one of Australia’s leading business technology solutions companies, today announced a new strategic partnership with The Alpha School System (TASS).

The agreement combines the core skills and capabilities of both organisations to provide best-of- breed school administration and information solutions to the Australian education sector.

Data^#3’s Group General Manager, Laurence Baynham said that partnering with TASS offers an unique opportunity for education customers to source one integrated software and technology solution, from on-premise to outsourced to cloud.

“It’s a great partnership for our customers and an example of our strategy to leverage applications to drive growth of our business in the Australian education market.

“The partnership will deliver new levels of functionality and overall value to our education customers through the integration of Data^#3’s infrastructure, software, Schools Information System and the TASS.web software to provide a more complete cloud-based solution for schools”, concluded Baynham.

Data^#3 has developed a number of solutions for the education sector focussed on data analytics to drive real-time decision making, identity management and workflow automation to streamline school back-office functions.

The TASS.web software is a comprehensive web-based school management system covering student and financial administration, payroll, learning management with integrated student, teacher and parent portals.

TASS Managing Director, Craig McAlister said that the Data^#3 partnership will provide a complimentary range of services and software tools for schools using the TASS.web software.

“This agreement combines the expertise of the two companies to deliver a comprehensive cloud- based solution for schools,” said McAlister.

Data^#3’s national delivery capability will supplement TASS’s expertise for implementation, systems integration and training. This will include assisting clients with the move to hybrid environments including private and public clouds.
