Data#3 announced as Australia’s Integrator of the Year

Recognised at the Australian Reseller News IT Industry Awards ‘07

BRISBANE, Australia — 27 September 2007 — Data#3 Limited [ASX: DTL], a national information and communications technology (ICT) company, was last night recognised as Australia’s leading Integrator at the Australian Reseller News IT Industry Awards.

The inaugural IT Industry Awards were drawn from over 7000 organisations that make up the ICT channel in Australia. Organisations were nominated and then a shortlist of finalists was selected by executives from IDG Communications, the publishers of Australian Reseller News. Finally, a panel of 30 industry leaders from technology vendors, integrators and distributors selected the winners.

The awards ceremony also delivered a significant environmental message, with winners being presented Bonsai trees instead of the usual plastic or crystal design. Throughout the evening money was raised for Clean Up Australia in recognition of its commitment to environmental responsibility and the role the ICT industry can play.

“We are honoured to have received this award. To be recognised by the ICT industry itself, including many of the leading organisations that we work with on a daily basis is very gratifying” said Laurence Baynham, General Manager, Data#3, on accepting the award last night.

“Organisations are continuing to value the flexibility and innovation that integrators such as Data#3 can deliver. By focusing on alignment to the customer’s business strategy, we can deliver technology solutions that empower business growth. Being recognised by the industry as Australia’s leading integrator for 2007 gives us confidence that our business strategy is working.” he said.

This award follows a number of recent wins across Data#3’s business, including being announced as the Microsoft Australia Messaging and Collaboration Partner of the Year, the IBM System i Partner of the Year, and being the only Australian integrator on the Queensland Government QP-707 whole of government desktop, notebook and server and associated services panel.
