Data#3 Achieves Advanced Technology Partner Certification for Cisco Unified Computing Systems
September 30, 2010On Tuesday 7 September, Data#3 Limited (ASX:DTL) was recognised for meeting the rigorous qualification criteria to attain Advanced Technology Partner accreditation for Cisco Unified Computing Systems (UCS). The certification signifies Data#3’s capability to design, supply, implement and support next generation data centres leveraging Cisco’s UCS technology.
As a Gold Certified Partner, “The UCS Advanced Technology Partner certification further acknowledges our commitment to delivering market leading solutions to our customers in strong partnership with Cisco, and provides a platform which significantly enhances our existing compute, unified communications and virtualisation solutions,” said Laurence Baynham, Group General Manager of Data#3.
“Cisco’s UCS provides a highly optimised platform for our unified communications and collaboration solutions; additionally, we see a huge potential for Cisco UCS to underpin our Dynamic Desktop offering, providing a more cost effective platform for our customers’ Citrix and VMware Virtual Desktop environments through scalable performance. We have already begun to unlock the potential of this technology with key customer projects underway,” said Baynham.
