BRISBANE, Friday 2nd November 2007. Richard Anderson, Chairman of Data#3 Limited (ASX:DTL), today announced the appointment of Mr Ian Johnston to the Board as a Non-Executive Director, effective immediately.
Mr Johnston is currently Executive Chairman, Corporate Finance at ABN AMRO Morgans and a member of its Advisory Board. Prior to joining ABN AMRO Morgans in 1988 as Head of Corporate Finance, Ian Johnston was involved in the banking industry for 25 years.
“We are confident that Ian Johnston’s extensive financial markets experience will add considerable value to the Board, and we are delighted to welcome him to Data#3,” said Richard Anderson.
Mr Johnston holds qualifications in management and finance and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an Associate of the Securities Institute of Australia and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Company Secretaries.
Mr Johnston’s other listed company directorships include Cardno Limited and The Rock Building Society Limited. His unlisted directorships include AAM Foundation Limited, BioPharmaceuticals Australia (Network) Pty Ltd, Rowland and Symbiosis Group Limited.
