As we grow and increase our profits, we believe our obligation is to support the community to grow with us. Community is considered a stakeholder along with our people, customers, partners and shareholders. Our Corporate Social Responsibility mission is to work to support the communities we operate in and make a meaningful difference.
Our commitment to the Data#3 Corporate Social Responsibility program continues year on year, as does our pride in the fact that we remain dedicated to contributing to the national economy, having a positive influence on the communities in which we work and reducing our impact on the environment. This program enables our people to personally make a difference and to feel satisfied that they work for a company that cares. To enable our people to give something back to the community, all of our permanent employees have the opportunity to spend 8 hours (1 day) every year to devote to charitable causes.
Our commitment to the environment
We support local communities with environmentally responsible practices, sporting sponsorships and volunteering, and we regularly make corporate donations to national and regional charities. We also work with our customers to support their corporate citizenship goals by helping them to reduce their energy use with green technology solutions and assisting them to dispose of their IT equipment responsibly.
Data#3 continues to engage with local and national communities through the SOUL program, which has worked with many worthy causes over the years. Data#3’s Corporate Social Responsibility and Community program names a national charity partner so we can really make a meaningful difference. Lifeline Australia is Data#3’s chosen national charity partner for the next three years.
Lifeline is the leading provider of crisis support and suicide prevention in Australia. With more than 50 years of continued experience and service in every state and territory across Australia, Lifeline is now receiving approximately one million contacts every year. This remains their most pressing funding need.
